The Vanderbeck Agency and the Great Neck Breast Cancer Coalition Launch Cooperative Charity Effort to Support Breast Cancer Patients

The Vanderbeck Agency, a Long Island firm providing insurance, financial planning, and related services to communities in the greater Nassau County region, is embarking on a combined charity effort with the Great Neck Breast Cancer Coalition to provide for patients diagnosed with breast cancer.
For the last 25 years, the Great Neck Breast Cancer Coalition has worked to support breast cancer patients in the Long Island area through the Lend a Helping Hand program that assists patients with daily life after diagnosis. As well, the organization works to prevent breast cancer through several outreach programs that present risk reduction options and explain known environmental links to breast cancer.
“In conjunction with the GNBCC, our mission during this charity event is to raise funds to battle breast cancer through supporting research and prevention, and to support local individuals who are newly diagnosed,” says Brandon Vanderbeck, owner and chief executive of the Vanderbeck Agency.
Pursuing engagement with the Long Island community, Vanderbeck and his team have established an online social media following and are actively sharing information on the charity event over an email update system. The Great Neck Breast Cancer Coalition is only the second of many New York area charities that the Vanderbeck agency plans to support in the near future. As members of the “Agents of Change” interstate charity support movement, the Vanderbeck team will be supporting a new regional charity quarterly.
